Pasture Raised - Rotationally Grazed- Regenerative -Grass Fed & Finished Beef
In 2012 Burtt’s beef purchased its first beef cattle .Since then we have continued to grow our business/family farm to produce the highest quality grass fed & finished beef for consumers while practicing rotational grazing, bale unrolling ,bale grazing and other strategies to give back to the land and build healthy soil.
Our beef comes from a few types of genetics all primary base on red angus with pastured raised genetics. We raise red angus , shorthorn and south poll breed which is a make up of red angus,hereford,barzona, senepol breeds. These types of cattle are very grass efficent cattle, have great maturnal instincts, are heat tolerant, have short hair to fight agains flies and other insects. All of these characteristics benifit our cattle in a pasture raised environment.
